Commissioning Egyptian Gas to Industrial Sector in Jordan and Start Operating the Jinchang Ceramic Factory with Natural Gas
within the constant pursuit of the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to maximize and diversify natural gas usage as an economic and civilized energy source in the Jordanian Kingdom, and to benefit from it in the various sectors, especially the industrial sector, His Excellency Dr./ Saleh Al Kharabsheh the Jordanian Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources and His Excellency Eng./ Tareq Al Mulla the Egyptian Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources witnessed the signing of the agreement between Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company, represented by Dr./ Magdy Galal, the head of the holding company, and Jordanian Egyptian Fajr Company represented by Eng./ Fouad Rashad-the CEO to supply the industrial sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with natural gas from the Arab Republic of Egypt, as the agreement allows the supply of natural gas from Egypt to feed the industrial sector, through the infrastructure of the Arab gas pipeline linking Jordan and Egypt.
As the Egyptian natural gas has started to be commissioned to Jine Cheng International Ceramic Company factory in the Qatrana area, where Mr. Wu Jiangbo - the general manager of the company stated the importance of this step as essential to the operation of the factory and the direct contribution of natural gas to reduce the operating costs of the factory compared to other types of fuel. And he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Jordanian Egyptian Fajr Company to overcome obstacles and complete the implementation of the project and supply the factory with natural gas in record time.
